Our Story
For us, LifeScan.mt started long before the clinic itself.
Dr. Andre Gatt, Dr. Robert Cassar, and Dr. Olivia Ann Cassar have been friends since sixth form. We went through medical school together, trained in different specialties, and spent years working across both the public and private healthcare sectors.
Over time, we realised we shared the same frustrations. Too much unnecessary waiting. Too many phone calls just to book an appointment. Poor communication. Paperwork everywhere. Clinics that felt impersonal, outdated, and stressful at exactly the moment people needed reassurance most.
When we decided to build our own clinic, the goal was simple: keep everything patients valued about the traditional family clinic, but redesign the parts that could work better.
We created a modern healthcare experience built around convenience, communication, and respect for people's time. Online booking with real-time availability. Instant email confirmations. A largely paperless radiology department. Clear communication before and after appointments. A clinic designed to feel calm, efficient, and personal.
Technology matters to us, but people matter more.
